How to travel to Kanfanar?

Kanfanar is located on the west side of the Istrian peninsula and can be reached in different ways. Thanks to the excellent road connections, by car would be the most practical one. Kanfanar is the main road intercept of the Istrian Motorway (Istrian Y hub) so you can easily get around Istria from there. If you take a motorway, follow the exit Kanfanar (60 kilometers from the border with Slovenia).

Also, you can travel by train. Kanfanar has always been one of the most important railway stations in the area, and it has remained so. Throughout the year, the train can take you to larger towns in Istria, and in the summer it has regular routes to Slovenia.

Finally, if you travel to Istria by plane, the nearest airport is in Pula, which is 30 kilometers from Kanfanar.
